Why is my export file so large?

If you selected 'Include media', all photos, videos, and voice messages are included. A chat with 5 years of photos could easily be 2-5GB. Export without media for a smaller file that's just the text.

Can I export chats from WhatsApp Business?

Yes, the export process is identical in WhatsApp Business. Navigate to the chat, tap the menu, select More > Export chat.

Will my exported chat include deleted messages?

No. Only messages that are currently visible in the chat will be exported. Deleted messages (by you or the other person) won't appear.

Can I automate exports or schedule them?
